Broader Goals

A BROADER, BOLDER EDUCATION

Our purpose is to nurture students into confident, competent and caring individuals, capable of making a meaningful contribution to their family, society and the world. History has shown when
individuals compete with themselves, they succeed more.

Dr Sunita Gandhi has established Nurture Schools across India to implement a much wider agenda of reform in education than ispossible in schools with already established norms.

NGS is built on years of international experience of Dr Sunita Gandhi and her family's knowhow of running City Montessori chool,Lucknow, the world's largest school, a Guinness World Record Holder, and recipient UNESCO Prize for Peace Education.

Dr Gandhi has traveled to and studied education systems in 38 countries and established schools in the Czech Republic, Iceland nd India. With a team of over 200 people working on four continents, Dr Gandhi has come up with Nurture International Model f Schooling, which is based on the four building blocks of education* and the principle of ‘Compete With Yourself!'.

NGS Goals of Education

Nurturing Self-Confidence

NGS

Research shows that students with high self confidence do much better in school and in life than those with low self-esteem. By focussing on progress, the NGS Programme endorses a child positively every step of the way.

Inspiring Every Child to Become Both “Good” and “Smart”

NGS

The goal of the NGS programme is to inspire every student to become both “good” and “smart.” Universal values such as cooperation, helpfulness and thankfulness are incorporated into NGS TopicBOOKS in creative ways. The development of self-confidence and lifeskills are important objectives within NGS.

Comprehensive Development

Several activities like Games, field trips, gymnastics, swimming, music, movement, dramatics, imagination plays and the arts are integrated with the academic programme.

Indeed, a child's intellect grows through movement and their spirit through music!
